Experience Your Own Inner Peace

SUNDAY 4TH OF JUNE 2017: 3:30-5:00 PM

It's not necessary to run away to the Himalayas in order to meditate. We all have a sense of stillness within, and in this workshop we will explore simple yogic meditation postures and breathing techniques we can all use to access that stillness no matter how busy life is. Whether you're new to meditation, or a more experienced practitioner, come along to enjoy a deep sense of peace beyond relaxation and learn how to feed this peacefulness into your daily life.

Catherine Turner

The 2.5 hours workshop will comprise of gentle stretching sequences, breathing exercises, pranayama, looking at posture and meditations, with the chance to share thoughts and ask questions throughout. Great for beginners or those who want to deepen their meditation practice, experience breathing more fully, to release accumulated physical and emotional stress and to learn how to focus the mind. Expect to be taken on a journey of inner discovery.

Catherine’s yoga study and practice spans 16 years and has taken her to India many times, including a soujourn at a remote Himalayan ashram and recent silent retreats. These journeys inspire her to find a deep sense of peace and stillness in her busy London life as a health & wellness writer and Editor. Catherine is a registered teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance.
