YOGA TEACHER TRAINING @ MA&Y

 

We are so excited to present a brand new Yoga teacher training course at MA&Y!

 

Are you interested in finding out more about yoga? Would you like to know the correct alignment of asanas? Delve into 2500 years of yoga philosophy? Learn about Anatomy & Physiology and how it relates to movement? Deepen your personal practice, as well as train to become a yoga teacher.

 

If so, join us for 200hrs yoga teacher training under the guidance of a hand picked faculty of expert teachers and scholars. 

The course will start September 2019 and will run over 18 months. Regular meetings will take place each month on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. It will offer more than 200 contact hours; 5 Anatomy & Physiology modules with experienced osteopath Chris Swain; 10 philosophy modules with world renown Sanskrit scholars Carlos Pomeda and Christopher Hareesh Wallis; specialised pregnancy, restorative and meditation modules with Lon Gibbons, Sophia Kouame and Catherine Turner respectively, as well as 130 hours of Hatha and Vinyasa with Gaia Persico and guest teachers.
